Abstract
The genus Aepytus Herrich-Schäffer, [1856] is revised to include five species, of which two are described as new from Brazil: Aepytus cataguas sp. n. from Minas Gerais state and Aepytus tupi sp. n. from Santa Catarina state. Both male holotypes are deposited in the Collection Padre Jesus Santiago Moure at University Federal do Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil. The lectotype of Epialus [sic] exclamans (Herrich-Schäffer, [1854]) is designated.
