Abstract
A new species of the genus Acosmeryx Boisduval, 1875, Acosmeryx akanshi sp. nov. is described from the southern Indian state of Karnataka. A comparison of the habitus and male genitalia, together with a genetic analysis of DNA barcode sequences, is made with those of Acosmeryx shervillii Boisduval, 1875, its closest relative in the genus Acosmeryx.

A new species of the genus Daphnusa Walker, 1856 (Lepidoptera, Sphingidae) from northern India Tomáš Melichar1 & Michal Řezáč2, Pages 189-197, Published: 20 December 2014
Abstract
A new species of the genus Daphnusa Walker, 1856, Daphnusa haxairei sp. nov. is described from the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The comparison of the habitaus and male genitalia is made is with those of Daphnusa ocellaris Walker, 1856 and Daphnusa sinocontinentalis Brechlin, 2009, which were selected as comparative material because their range includes parts of continental Southeast Asia.
